Food Warriors is an interdisciplinary studio where culinary products and experiences are developed by chefs working closely with designers at the intersection of food, design, and sustainability. Food is treated as both craft and material, shaped through culinary expertise and design-driven exploration. From this foundation, we develop experiences, products, brand integrations, and custom menus for brands, institutions, and cultural contexts — working across food, design, and communication to create authored outcomes that are intentional, grounded, and specific to their setting.

    We create custom menus that respond to a brand’s identity, audience, and context. Working with local ingredients and seasonal availability, each menu is designed to be purposeful, socially responsible, and expressive beyond the plate.

    Stephan Hentschel

    PARTNER&CHEF

    The legendary chef Stephan Hentschel is a pioneer when it comes to vegetarian haute cuisine, for his restaurant Cookies in Berlin he has not only received the first Michelin star for a vegetarian restaurants in Germany but he also put a new spin on plant based kitchen as such. His passion for vegetarian cuisine has lead him to several new ventures such as food events for some of the worlds leading cultural institutions and his latest joint venture, Food Warriors which is dedicated to creating positive and social impact trough sustainable food ventures.

    PARTNER&CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    As a innovation designer and creative consultant he has worked for more then 30 brands such as fortune 100 companies like General Motors, BASF and ADIDAS. Since more then 15 years he is involved in the field of social business, established a accelerator in the Baltics, developed social business events and workshops formats for the Grameen Creative Lab and Yunus Social Business. His Design Agency AGE5 applies transformation design processes to create impactful change within individuals, systems and organizations.

    Henrik Strempel

    PARTNER&CHEF

    Henrik is a head chef and consultant who learned his craft at the legendary Michelin star restaurant Fischers Fritz. As a head chef of the Cantinerie, Restaurant Behrens, Yuna Catering he makes fine dinning accessible to the main stream while in the same time focusing on sustainability and locality. He combines his passion for culture and food by developing experiences for cultural organisations such as Kater Blau Berlin, Plötzlich am Meer, Burning Man. Studio Drift and Therme Art. His client portfolio reaches from companies as Telekom, Gasag, Universal Musik, Mercedes Benz to privat persons as Phil Murphy the governor of New Jersey.

    Lucas Van Oostrum

    PARTNER&HEAD OF EVENTS

    Lucas van Oostrum is a technologist and creative director working at the intersection of art, design, and technology. As the founder of Drone Stories, he develops large-scale aerial light performances that use the sky as a narrative medium, adding a new dimension to live and cultural experiences. Since debuting in 2017 with the award-winning performance Franchise Freedom in collaboration with art duo DRIFT, he has directed and produced drone shows for leading festivals and institutions worldwide, including ADE, Ultra Miami, and Coachella, leading a multidisciplinary team focused on innovation, storytelling, and technical excellence.
